We are seeking information on Ferry Boat employees and photos for a future book.



Septemberfest 2010 Display

Looking for PHOTOS for Septemberfest.  This years theme for the PTHS's booth at Septemberfest 2010 will be "Pennsville Township Elementary School Class Photos".   The PTHS is seeking "5x7" or "8x10" classroom photos from Deepwater, Pennsville, Central Park, Penn Beach, and Valley Park Schools.  Only ONE photo is needed.  Printers of Salem County will reproduce your photo. Photos will not be returned but will be included in our permanent records of PV Schools.  Photo (and names of persons in the photo) can be left with Nancy at the Pennsville Recreation Department Office at 9 North Broadway, Pennsville, NJ.

Grammar School Reunion Picnic


The Tenth Annual Deepwater and Pennsville Grammar school reunion picnic was held on Wednesday, June 30, 2010, at Riverview Beach Park.  The Class of 1950 celebrated their 60th anniversary from eighth grade. Pollie Townsend, Deepwater Class of 1934, was the oldest classmate. Others from the 1930's classes were: Betty Trout Sniadowski, Ginny Dwyer Skilton, Jim Claxton, Eleanor Trout Pawling, Eddith Stoneman Hogate, and Emily Wetzel Messick.
